American Coot Close-up
Close up of an American Coot. These funny little "duck like" birds are really a hoot to watch in their large flocks as they forage both on land and in water. Fun fact: Coots are more closely related to Whooping Cranes than a duck. They are classified with Rails and Gallinules (Moorhens)
